John needed an advert to be published in several magazines including ‘Taxation Magazine’ and ‘Estates Gazette’. John had seen my work at the D&AD exhibition and approached me to create the advert for him. I started by flicking though the magazines the advert was to go in, and NOTHING stood out. I appreciated the design needed to be corporate but saw no reason for it to be boring. I kept all my drafts very simple and clean, many with a quirky image, I then persuaded John to use a very bright colour, so his advert would stand out a mile in these magazines. The advert was published in a whole host of magazines for several months, including inside front and back covers. |
